Project Women´s house Trenčín
In area of Trenčín we missed special house for women and their children who suffer for domestic violence, therefore non profit organization LUNA made a decision to create a new one with name „ BŽD ( safety women house ) for sacrifice of domestic violence.
Thanks project Women´s house Trenčín with number DGV03002, which has financial support from grant of Norwegian kingdom through Norwegian financial mechanism and also is supported by state national budget of Slovak republic in program called „ Program SK09- Domáce a rodovo podmienené násilie „ there was created new house called Safety women´s house for women and their children suffering for domestic violence in Trenčín.

In this house are 21 flats . 53 people are able to live there. Each of flats has balcoon or terrace ( depends on area of flat ) fully furnished kitchen desk, fridge, TV receiver, cupboard, beds, table, chairs, toilets and shower. In common place women can find enterance hall, therapeutic room, playroom for children, work room and ambulance. Court and garden terrace are also included. House for women is placed in a safety environment in closed area with cameras and fence which is designed to cancel any chance to see something into the area from outside.

Lenght of stay is individually, depends on how long they will need support and protection.
Women can come from the another place, but our priority are areas: Trenčín, Ilava, Nové Mesto nad Váhom, Bánovce nad Bebravou, Púchov, Myjava, Partizánske, Prievidza a Považská Bystrica.
Women can call to aour 24 hours crisis line. In the case, woman is afraid or she is not sure, there is a possible to write us an email. All needed information are on the website, or they can use ambulant guidness.
